2. Terms of Use

Purpose

The Site provides general information about the drone and aerospace activities, technologies, and services offered by Thopius. Content is provided for illustrative purposes only and has no contractual value.

Access

The Site is accessible 24/7, except in case of force majeure, maintenance, or technical issues. Thopius cannot be held liable for any unavailability.

Limitation of Liability

While Thopius strives to ensure accuracy, errors or omissions may occur. We are not liable for direct or indirect damages arising from your use of the Site, presence of malicious software, or service interruptions. Drone and aerospace technologies may be subject to export-control regulations (EAR, ITAR, EU dual-use); any commercial engagement is governed by a separate written contract.

The Site may contain hyperlinks to third-party websites. Thopius has no control over those sites and cannot be held liable for their content or availability.

3. Privacy Policy

Data we collect

  • Identification data — name, email, phone, company, message content (via contact form).
  • Technical data — IP address, browser, OS, device type.
  • Browsing data — pages viewed, duration, clicks (anonymized analytics).

Purpose

Responding to enquiries, improving site performance, complying with legal obligations, and sending updates if you have explicitly opted in. We do not sell personal data.

Legal basis

Processing is based on your consent (newsletter, analytics cookies), the legitimate interest of Thopius (site security, service improvement), or applicable legal obligations.

Retention

  • Contact form data: up to 3 years from last interaction.
  • Technical / browsing data: up to 13 months, in line with applicable Guinean law.
  • Legal obligations: duration imposed by regulation.

Recipients

Authorized staff within Thopius, plus technical providers (hosting, CDN, analytics). Some of these providers are located abroad (for example, hosting in the USA); in such cases the data is transferred under appropriate contractual safeguards.

Your rights

Under Law No. L/2016/037/AN of 26 July 2016 on cybersecurity and the protection of personal data in the Republic of Guinea, you may access, rectify, delete, restrict, port, or object to processing of your personal data, and withdraw consent at any time. Reach us at contact@thopius.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the ARPT (Autorité de Régulation des Postes et Télécommunications). No Data Protection Officer (DPO) has been appointed.

4. Security

Thopius implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data and product systems: TLS-encrypted communications, signed firmware, restricted access to authorized personnel, SSO + MFA, and secure hosting. These measures are aligned with Law L/2016/037/AN and the guidance of ANSSI Guinée, the national cybersecurity agency.

Responsible disclosure. If you believe you have found a vulnerability, please report it privately to contact@thopius.com. We acknowledge within 5 business days and will keep you informed through remediation. We do not pursue legal action against good-faith researchers.

5. Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit the Site. They allow it to function properly and to improve performance.

The Site uses two categories of cookies:

  • Strictly necessary cookies — required for the Site to operate (theme preference, session, security).
  • Functional cookies — improve user experience (e.g. display settings).

No marketing or third-party advertising cookies are set. You may manage or disable cookies via your browser settings; disabling strictly necessary cookies may affect site functionality.

6. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This Legal Notice, the Terms of Use, the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy are governed by the laws of the Republic of Guinea and the applicable OHADA Uniform Acts. In the event of a dispute, and failing an amicable resolution, the competent court shall be the Tribunal de Commerce de Conakry.
